HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — Residents in Maple Plain, Independence, and Medina are without power after a large transformer blew up, according to West Hennepin Public Safety. Xcel Energy crews began repairs Wednesday afternoon. It is not yet known when the power will be restored. HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — Residents in Maple Plain, Independence, and Medina are without power after a large transformer blew up, according to West Hennepin Public Safety. Xcel Energy crews began repairs Wednesday afternoon.
