Moms RUN This Town (MRTT) continues to see incredible growth on both the local and national scale. While the Champlin/Maple Grove chapter is up to nearly 160 members, MRTT is up to 725 chapters across the country! To grow from 1 chapter to 725 in a matter of 2 years is pretty amazing and really goes to show what a wonderful organization MRTT is.
The Champlin/Maple Grove chapter is extremely active, with multiple group walks/runs, social outings, lots of online chatter, and special events. Some are beginners, some are marathoners. Some walk, some run. There are ladies of all abilities and skill levels, coming from a variety of backgrounds -and that is the way we prefer it. Our chapter is extremely supportive, positive and encouraging. We have no petty drama, everyone gets along, and it's an all-around awesome group to be a part of.
If you are a runner, walker, or are interested in getting started....and you are a mom, future mom, pet mom, or if you have a mom, or if you can spell M-O-M....you can join. Just search Facebook for "Champlin/Maple Grove Moms RUN This Town" and request to join our private Facebook group. That is where we chat, give/get advice, talk about races, plan runs and get togethers, etc. And best of all, it's free - so you have nothing to lose by trying it out.
