Musical Theatre July 13-17 & July 20-24--“HATS!” for ages 5-10 -- Grab your hat! It’s time to party! Hats of all shapes and sizes take over the stage when a group of hat designers help Hatless Hank find the perfect hat. Explore all kinds of hats, their uses and the people who wear them. Discover that it’s not the hat that makes a person special, but what’s underneath! This class for our youngest actors, new or returning, will teach students the basics of theatre--clear speech and diction, facial expressions, dance techniques and singing!

Musical Theatre July 13-17 & July 20-24--“LEMONADE!” for ages 5-10
Join in this fabulous, FUN fairytale frenzy when Chicken Little, the Three Little Pigs, Humpty Dumpty, the Cat with a Fiddle, Little Bo Peep, Little Boy Blue and a host of other characters are having a BAD DAY! But with the help of a cheerful Mother Goose, discover how they learn to make the best out of life’s ups and downs. FUN songs and dances! Many speaking parts! Your child will gain confidence acting, singing and dancing in front of their teachers, their friends and then a live audience on stage!

Musical Theatre July 6-10--“GOAL!” for ages 8-13
FUN, exciting theatre camp! Did you know that over 13 million Americans play soccer? The game that Brazilian “football” legend Pele called “The Beautiful Game” is the setting for this amazingly entertaining musical that not only celebrates the beauty and glory of the sport, but also the value of good sportsmanship, setting goals, being a part of a team and more. In this musical, whether sports is your “thing” or not, nobody is cut from the team, and with musical styles from Latin to Rap and Pop to Broadway, we celebrate setting goals and working as a team to accomplish amazing things together! Your child will gain confidence acting, singing and dancing in front of their teachers, their friends and then a live audience on stage!

Musical Theatre- July 13-17-“The Hundred Year SNOOZE” for ages 10-18
Our biggest camp of the season! Who doesn’t love a great fairytale? This musical theatre camp will put a new spin on the classic tale of “Sleeping Beauty!” In the royal kingdom there lives a princess who possesses gifts bestowed upon her by the kingdom’s Seven Graces: beauty, wit and charm, grace and elegance, song, dance and good math skills! However, her parents who are the king and queen of the castle and a court full of fun characters, all fall under an evil spell given by the ignored and forgotten Old Grace. Humorous script with many characters! Fun singing and dancing in the kingdom! Your child will gain confidence acting, singing and dancing in front of their teachers, their friends and then a live audience on stage! Students will make new friends and have a blast in this theatre camp! Fun set, great costumes!

THEATRE DANCE Camps June 22-26 with Mary Huebert
Theatre Dance camps are great 1 week opportunities for students to have FUN, be ACTIVE and learn new DANCE skills. Students will work with our most experienced, professional theatre dance choreographer in a small group with individual attention. This class is perfect for actors wanting to experience theatre dance choreography, improve their movement, poise, posture. Past students in Miss Mary’s dance classes have demonstrated greater confidence and speed in learning new material and have consistently been among the best dancers at Front Porch for their commitment to improve. Limited class size!

Drama Camp: Scenework -- July 20-24 for ages 14-18
This drama-only, 1 week camp focuses on sharpening your acting skills with individualized and collabrative training as you prepare comedic and dramatic scenes from timeless theater productions, such as Tom Sawyer, Sherlock Holmes, Hound of the Baskervilles. Acting only--singing and dancing skills not needed! Limited class size!
Classes held M-F, 6:00-7:30pm at Osseo Church of the Nazarene. Minimum class size 15 students. Tuition: $100

Drama Camp: Improv -- July 27-31 for ages 14-18

Take a one-week drama course on improv acting. Beginners and veterans alike will develop creative thinking, confidence and build team work. Improv acting is not only for the acting enthusiast but can be a great confidence booster for anyone looking to become more comfortable speaking in public and working in teams. Come prepared to be challenged, learn and laugh! Limited class size!
