New Rooftop Restaurant Approved For Maple Grove
The restaurant's proposal for rooftop dining is a first for Maple Grove, according to city officials.
If you were hoping for more restaurants in Maple Grove, you're in luck. Last month, the Maple Grove City Council approved a development plan for Crave Restaurant to redevelop the existing Wild Bill’s restaurant at Elm Creek Boulevard and Main Street.
Dick Edwards, the Maple Grove community development director, told Press and News that Crave's proposal for rooftop dining is a first for Maple Grove:
“The plan does quite a job emulating what we’re looking for on Main Street. We were looking for the site to be redeveloped in a rather spectacular fashion. This is a very attractive building concept. The architecture is quite amazing. The buildings compliment what’s out there.”
Dean Dovolis, CEO of DJR Architects, Inc., told the Press and News that they would like to start construction this spring.
