No Surprise: People Really Like Living In Maple Grove

A new survey reveals just how much people like living in Maple Grove.

The city of Maple Grove has contracted with the National Research Center, Inc. (NRC) to administer a citizen survey in 2008, 2013 and 2016. Surveys were mailed to 1,200 randomly selected resident households in August 2016.

The city is thanking everyone who participated in both the mailed and online survey, saying, "we appreciate your sharing your insights and enthusiasm for the Maple Grove community."

2016 Citizen Survey Key Findings

  • Maple Grove residents continue to enjoy an exceptionally high quality of life.
    • 98 percent of respondents said the quality of life in Maple Grove is "very good" or "good," which is much higher than the national benchmark, according to city officials
  • According to the city, "almost all" survey respondents would recommend living in Maple Grove to someone, and they are a loyal bunch with around 9 in 10 residents planning to remain for the next five years
