Nottingham Parkway Closed Oct. 1 in Maple Grove

Nottingham Parkway, north of Bass Lake Road in Maple Grove, will be closed Saturday, Oct. 1 for work on the roadways intersection.

Motorists traveling Nottingham Parkway Saturday, Oct. 1 will need to find another route from about 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The north approach of the intersection of Bass Lake Road and Nottingham Parkway will be closed for work in the intersection on the north side of Bass Lake Road, according to the in an electronic newsletter. The city stated traffic "will not be able to turn north off of Bass Lake Road at Nottingham, nor will traffic from the north be able to get to Bass Lake Road via Nottingham."

The closure will assist the contractor in expediting work in the area without traffic. It is part of the .

"This portion of the roadway will reopen Saturday evening with a packed gravel surface," the city of Maple Grove said in its electronic newsletter.

The area near the impacted intersection is expected to reopen Saturday evening with a packed gravel surface and will be paved in about two to three weeks.

Alternate routes during the closure include Lawndale Lane and Dunkirk Lane to access either Weaver Lake Road or Bass Lake Road.
