St. John's Lutheran Church & School (founded on April 18, 1864) has been celebrating its 150th Anniversary throughout this past year. On June 8th we are hosting an old fashioned base ball game (played by 1860's rules) with the help of the Washington County Historical Society's St. Croixs base ball team. Afterward there will be a pie and ice cream social. This event is open to the community, so bring a lawn chair and enjoy a game of base ball as it would have been played during the Civil War era, as well as some delicious pie and ice cream. We have designated the Wounded Warrior Project as the charity to which any donations given at this event will go (in their entirety).
