Oriole Football Team Defeats Crimson in Section Play, 20-14

The Osseo Senior High varsity football came from behind to win against the Maple Grove Crimson in 5AAAAA semifinal section action.

Once again, the football team came from behind to win against Oct. 29 in 5AAAAA semifinal section play.

The Orioles scored first, only a minute into the game. The tide is turned when Crimson came back to score two touchdowns and a two point conversion to make the score 14-7.

It wasn't until the third quarter that the Orioles scored to tie the game 14-14.

With 1:36 left to play, Osseo scored again making the score 20-14.

The Orioles clinched their victory with 46.4 seconds left on the clock with solid defensive plays, sacking Crimson's quarterback and then forcing an incomplete pass.

Osseo will face Wayzata next in final section play on Nov. 4.
