A face off between and Centennial High School in girls basketball ended in a 60-48 win for the Orioles, a Section 5AAAA championship and a trip to state. Osseo met up with Centennial Friday at Anoka High School for the Section 5AAAA title. Top scorers for the Orioles were Mikayla Bailey with 17 points, Phillis Webb with 13 points followed by Hayley Swanson with 12 points. In the first round in the 2012 State Class AAAA Girls Basketball Tournament, Osseo (24-5) <a href="http://www.mshsl.org/mshsl/showbrackets.asp?tournid=2643&amp;bracket=5912" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">will play against</a> #3 White Bear Lake Area High School (23-6) 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 14 at the Target Center. Osseo Senior High's victory over Centennial High School Friday earned the Orioles a trip to state.
