The girls and boys basketball teams recently worked together to raise $1,500 for Coaches vs. Cancer, a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The teams were recognized for their fundraising efforts during the "Power of Pride" at the Jan. 22 District 279 School Board meeting.
