An undefeated season for the girls varsity soccer team continues after a win against Champlin Park High School Aug. 30. The Tuesday game remained scoreless through the first half, with the Crimson holding a tight defense against the Rebels. About 20 minutes into the second half, the Rebels scored. A short time later, junior forward Haley Nelson tied up the game for the Crimson which led the team into overtime. About four minutes into overtime play, the Crimson's junior forward Kailey Beatt scored to win the game. The Maple Grove Senior High girls soccer team takes on Minneapolis Washburn Aug. 31.
