The Park Brook and Three Rivers Park District partnership began during the 2015-2016 school year, as scholars in Renee Pelton’s third grade class were afforded the opportunity to serve on the Kid Task Force and help influence the work being done at French Regional Park. Students continued to meet with Three Rivers staff over the course of the following two school years and were recognized for their contributions during the play area’s grand re-opening ceremony in 2018.
