kindergarten held its annual Pumpkin Math Day in October. Dads, grandfathers, and uncles came to the Maple Grove school to work with a small group of kindergartners on activities involving pumpkins and math. Students answered questions about the pumpkin's weight, circumference, vertical lines and quantity of seeds. The students drew designs to be carved by the adults.
