Photos: Maple Grove Half Marathon & 5K

More than 1,000 runners participated in the Maple Grove Half Marathon & 5K Saturday, May 12 at Maple Grove Senior High.

The 5K female overall winners were Suzanne Brakob of Maple Grove with the first place win, Lindsay Arnot of Rochester with second place and Susan Peterson of Maple Grove with third place. The male overall category, the first place finisher was Andrew Jewell of St. Louis Park, Pat Keehner of La Crescent with second and Kurt Jewell of St. Louis Park with third. 

Top finishers in the half marathon in the female category were Amy Halseth of Minneapolis with first, Cindy Balckstock of Plymouth second and Kristy Stone with third. In the male category, Wade Cruser of Sauk Rapids came in first, Derick Podratz of Lino Lakes second and Joseph Papin of St. Paul third.
