It was a tough loss for the Orioles boys hockey team at the Saturday, Jan. 7 when the district rival the Crimson took added another win to their nearly perfect season by shutting out the Orioles 8-0. The Crimson's Dylan Steman and Jordan Gross each had a strong game, Steman bringing in three goals and Gross bringing two goals for Maple Grove. Others scoring for the Crimson included Sam Valerius, Zach Schafer and Tony Paulson. Maple Grove travels to Edina on Thursday, Jan. 12. Check back to Maple Grove Patch for live coverage of the game.
