Police-Involved Crash Sends 4 To Hospital: Authorities

The Minnesota State Patrol was contacted to investigate the crash because the incident involved local police, according to authorities.

BROOKLYN PARK, MN — Four people were injured in a three-vehicle crash involving a police squad that had its lights and sirens activated on Wednesday afternoon in Brooklyn Park, authorities said.

The incident occurred around 3:20 p.m. in the area of 85th Avenue North and Zane Avenue North when the police vehicle was responding to an emergency call, according to authorities.

The four people who were hurt were taken by ambulance to an area hospital with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
