Shuttle From Maple Grove to the 2016 Minnesota State Fair

The State Fair is right around the corner. That's right, the Great Minnesota Get-Together starts Thursday, Aug. 25.

This year, rather than navigating through heavy traffic and street construction just to pay upwards of $13 for a single parking spot, Maple Grove fairgoers may consider taking the bus to the Minnesota State Fair.

Metro Transit will provide shuttle bus service from the Maple Grove Transit Station to the state fairgrounds on Saturdays, Sundays, and Labor Day during the 2016 state fair.

• Parking is free, but overnight parking is not allowed.
• The round trip fare is $5.00 (cash only). Have exact fare or a Metro Transit bus bargain ticket. Visit the Metro Transit website to purchase online.
• Children age four and under ride free.
• Express buses drop off/pick at the new transit hub on the west end of the State Fair near Gate 16 and the West End Market.
• All express service is wheelchair accessible.
