Well I must admit I was almost completely underwhelmed by the PS3 exclusive The Last of Us from celebrated developers of the Uncharted series Naughty Dog. From all the 10 scores it raked in I thought I would be blown away. While I was obliged to give it a fairly high score myself due to a sheer abundance of quality in the production it was nonetheless a massive personal disappointment. I will say this though, it does elevate storytelling in gaming to a more grown up level, it just happens to miss a lot of opportunities and constrict the player's gameplay abilities. Next I'll be reviewing Deadpool, it hasn't been pulling down very good scores but I'll be keeping an open mind as usual. I must admit I know nothing about this comic anti-hero so maybe it's good I have no expectations.
Also, Sony just cancelled my pre-order of Quantic Dream's upcoming masterpiece featuring Ellen Page and Willem DaFoe Beyond: Two Souls because they made a pricing error. Don't you think if they made the error they should honor it?
