For some time I've had this awful back pain after an MRI I've finally gotten to the bottom of it. Herniated disc. I'll be seeing a orthopedic surgeon for a consult in a couple of weeks.
What does that have to do with gaming? It means I have a decent enough excuse to lie around on a heating pad and play video games. Not that that's ALL I'm doing! I'm still writing of course.
Recently I asked a few questions and got some great responses. If anyone is interested I wanted to know just what it might say to Square Enix if the Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD collection actually outsold their newest game Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII. Most agree that it will, but doubt the tin-eared developer will learn anything from it.
I also asked the PSXE community just what drove them to place a pre-order. Do all the new goodies do the trick or do you have your own reasons?
I've also noticed that Splinter Cell: Blacklist has pulled down great scores by going back to its roots, so it's time for a reminder that I wondered way back in May what would happen if the game was a success. And now it might be, so it's time to keep an eye on the industry.
I picked up God of War: Ascension to play and a VGA box for my Dreamcast so I can go back and play some games in the best definition possible. I'm digging on a couple horror games like Nightmare Creatures II and D2.
