Tree Trimmer Falls To His Death In North Twin Cities Metro

ANOKA COUNTY, MN — One man is dead after he fell from a tree in the north Twin Cities metro.

On Tuesday at about 3:40 p.m., the Anoka County Sheriff's Office and Allina ambulance responded to the scene on the 22400 block of Durant Street Northeast.

Emergency responders found a man identified as Paul Eugene Malaske, 70, of East Bethel. He was declared dead at the scene.

Investigators believe Malaske was on a ladder trimming a tree when he fell to the ground.

The Anoka County Sheriff’s Office and Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office continue to investigate.
