Volunteer and Save a Life (seriously! save a life!)

Fostering isn't a Lifetime Commitment. It's a Commitment to Saving a Life

We're always looking for volunteers of all types, but foster homes are the backbone of our rescue. As a Good Karma foster parent, you'll receive all supplies, food and medical care for your foster pet. You'll receive support every step of the way. You'll have a little fun. You'll laugh. You'll cry. And you'll generate more good karma than you can shake a stick at.

Before you say "I could never foster! I couldn't say goodbye/ I have no room/ I have no time/insert reason here", consider this. Each year, over 4 million shelter pets are euthanized through no fault of their own. That figure does NOT include the countless forgotten pets that are never reported, who are neglected, abused, or abandoned. That does not include the animals who are chained up outside 24/7, used for breeding or fighting, or who have otherwise been robbed of their right to a happy life.  Opening your home temporarily for one of these helpless animals literally will save its life, PLUS one more! You're saving the foster dog that is coming to your home, but you're also opening up a space in that shelter for another dog who needs it. Yes, it's hard to say goodbye - but the tears are a small price to pay for the impact you're having on the world and on the lives of the animals you save.
If you are interested in fostering, please visit our website and fill out a foster application! A really awesome representative of Good Karma will contact you!
