After a , a White Castle representative says the new Maple Grove location will be opening Aug. 26. "We are excited to announce our grand opening day will be Sunday, Aug. 26 at 9 a.m. We are looking forward to seeing all of our Cravers on Sunday!" White Castle representative Leisa Karl wrote in an email to Patch. No reason was provided by White Castle about the delayed opening. on the building in Dunkirk Shopping Center in April 2012.  The Maple Grove City Council for 2,550 square foot restaurant October 2011.
