Woman In SUV Drove Over Man Lying On Road In Blaine: Police
No charges have been filed in the deadly incident, according to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office.

BLAINE, MN — Authorities say a 44-year-old Blaine man died after he laid down on the ground and was run over by an SUV.
On Wednesday at about 8:30 p.m., police and emergency personnel responded to a report of a person struck by a vehicle near the 1700 block of 119th Avenue Northeast in Blaine.
According to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office, Matthew Brian Johnson and a moped were laying on the road of 119th Avenue when a woman in an SUV drove over him.

At the scene, first responders attempted life-saving measures on Johnson before he was transported to a local hospital, where he was declared dead.
The driver of the SUV was not taken into custody and has not been charged, according to a news release.

The incident is under investigation by the Blaine Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office, and the Anoka County Sheriff’s Office.
