INTO THE WOODS: June 24-July 2 @ Yellow Tree Theatre

From the team that brought you Shrek the Musical: Home Base Theatre presents Into the Woods: June 24 - July 2, 2015.

Home Base Theatre is returning to the stage this summer with a production of Stephen Sondheim’s Into the Woods. The story follows a childless baker and his wife as they endeavor to lift their family curse by journeying into the woods. On their journey, the pair run into a variety of fairy-tale favorites: Rapunzel (and her witchly “mother”), Cinderella, Jack (and his mother and his beanstalk), Little Red Riding Hood, and a pair of hilarious Princes. The baker and his wife quickly learn that getting what you want isn’t always what you wished for in the first place!

Home Base Theatre is a troupe of performers from Maple Grove Senior High School that engages the Maple Grove Senior High alumni network in professional theatrical productions. In turn, Home Base Theatre provides financial support for the Maple Grove Senior High Theatre & Music Department.

The all-star cast features alumni favorites Trevor Bunce, Erin McWilliams, Johnny Neumann, Alison Rigazio, Sharayah Bunce, Coryn Jacobson, Kylea Barnes, Tessa Dorso, Kevin Brown, and Ryan Christensen. Joining the team for their Home Base Theatre debut are actors Mari Hyman, Rachel Bartelt, Katelyn Belden, Greg Bunce, Carter Grimes, and Jared Mogen.
