Numerous awards have been awarded to the city of Maple Grove for the Town Green since it opened in 2010. The Maple Grove City Council heard at its Sept. 19 meeting which recognitions were awarded.

Design and community support earned in Maple Grove multiple awards in 2011 and growth in usage.
“The Town Green’s excellent design and its overwhelming success as a community gathering space has led to it being honored with a number of awards,” Maple Grove Parks and Recreation Director Terry Just said in a memo to the City Council at it Sept. 19. “The projects and its contractors have been honored for architecture, landscape architecture, lighting, performance space and its community enhancement qualities.”
