Mendota Heights Rep. Regina Barr is sponsoring legislation would change the way students are admitted to Minnesota colleges.

Rep. Regina Barr, a Republican who represents Mendota Heights and Inver Grove Heights, is sponsoring a bill that would require the Minnesota state college system to automatically admit Minnesota high school students that graduate in the top 10 percent of their class.
