Address Of Sex Offender Living In Mendota Heights Released

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — The Minnesota Department of Corrections has released the address of the newest registered sex offender living in Mendota Heights. Authorities say Kirk Fugelseth is living in the "vicinity" of Farmdale Road and Wachtler Avenue. Further information is not available to the public.

Fugelseth's history of sexual contact is with boys and girls ages 7 to 15 and includes "touching and penetration," according to authorities. The 51-year-old admitted to abusing 31 children, KARE 11 reported.

Fugelseth also has a history of possessing child pornography.

A January court decision led to his discharge from the Minnesota Sex Offender Program. Fugelseth entered the program in 2003 as a sexually dangerous person who had a sexual psychopathic personality.

Fugelseth is one of two registered sex offenders now living in Mendota Heights.

Eric James Dokken — who has a history of sexual conduct with boys age 6-13 — lives on the 2200 block of Lexington Avenue South.
