Troopers said a 2002 Chevrolet Express van left the roadway to the left and rolled multiple times. The girl, identified as Camila Flores, 5, of Salem, Oregon, was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three other occupants, the driver, Angel Eduardo Ruiz Perez, 20, of Salem; a 35-year-old woman; and a 13-year-old boy, were also in the van.

Their injuries were described as non-life-threatening. The names of the two minors and the adult woman have not yet been released by the State Patrol.

Ruiz Perez was belted. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, troopers said.

Inver Grove Heights Police and Fire and MHealth/Fairview Ambulance also responded to the scene.

Road conditions were dry at the time of the crash.

The State Patrol is investigating.
