According to the ballot language, the money would go toward safety and security improvements, textbooks and teaching materials, school transportation vehicles, facility maintenance, cybersecurity protections, utility costs and other operating capital purposes allowed by law. The projects have received a positive review and comment from the state commissioner of education.
As the ballot notes, a yes vote on the question is a vote for a property tax increase.
All results are unofficial until they are certified by the school board's canvass.
