Audrene Lojovich Named Nationwide Assembly Speaker-Elect of the American Lung Association

Longtime American LungΒ Association volunteer and Mendota Heights resident Audrene Lojovich will serve as the American Lung Associationβs Nationwide Assembly Speaker-Elect from 2012 to 2013, and will then serve as the Nationwide Assembly Speaker from 2013 to 2014.Β Β
βAs a devoted member of the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest, Ms. Lojovich truly embodies the goals of the American Lung Association to improve lung health.Β Her appointment as Assembly Speaker-Elect will enrich the lifesaving mission of our organization,β said Ross P. Lanzafame, Chair of the Board of the American Lung Association.
Β Ms. Lojovich began her volunteer service with the American Lung Association in 1989 with her county Board and then with the Minnesota State Board. She subsequently led the mergers that brought together Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Indiana to form the American Lung Association of the Upper Midwest. She served as its chair from 2006 to 2008.
Ms. Lojovich joined the Nationwide Assembly in 2006 and has held other volunteer board leadership responsibilities, which include the YWCA of Saint Paul, Minnesota, and Sounds of Hope, Ltd., an international childrenβs music program. Ms. Lojovich recently retired after a forty-five year career with Securian Financial Group, located in Saint Paul.
