Armed, Masked Men Restrained And Robbed Inver Grove Heights Residents: Police

Inver Grove Heights police were told that two suspects with firearms had entered the home, restrained the residents and demanded money.

Police are looking for suspects following a report of a robbery in Inver Grove Heights. On Thursday, Feb. 2, at about 9:30 p.m., Inver Grove Heights police responded to a burglary of an occupied home in the 8400 block of Bryce Court.

Responding officers were told that two masked, male suspects who possessed firearms had entered the home, restrained the residents and demanded money. After the suspects collected money and other property they fled the residence, according to police.

Once the suspects fled, a family member was able to leave the residence and call 911.

No one was harmed at the residence, according to a news release.

Upon arrival, responding officers checked the home and surrounding area for the suspects and were not able to locate them. Officers processed the scene for items of evidence and will be examining those items as part of the investigation.

From information provided by the residents, this incident is not believed to be a random act, according to police. At this time, the suspects are unknown.
