Rogers Lake Clean-up
Please thank our volunteers for all their work cleaning up at Rogers Lake Park and the lake itself.
Volunteers from the neighborhood were out at 8:00 am on Saturday, May 4, picking up garbage at the Rogers Lake Park and from the lake itself. Pat and Jeanne, resplendent in yellow jump suits from Lowe's, showed up at 8 am with John, Al and Doug. Al Harkrader went down the west side with Doug Hennes. John C worked the pond at the park and Jeannie worked the southeast side of the parkway.
We finished at 11, and I hauled 10 bags of stuff to Mendakota. Jeanne worked Wagon Wheel, Pat hit the park and John, Al and I worked the shoreline on the west side of lake (I finished in front of Patterson). Ira joined the group and worked the skateboard park area. We had many bags, many heavy, that were hauled away.
