Community Solar coming soon!

Climate Change is obviously a concern but I think too many of us feel overwhelmed by the scope of it. When we read about major weather events in Minnesota or other parts of the world we have to remember that there are many things we can do to bring this under control.  For example, as a result of hard work by concerned citizens and a coalition of environmental organizations at the Legislature this year, and with the support of Rep. Hansen and Sen. Metzen (thanks!), we will soon have the ability to form community solar cooperatives. You won’t have to spend thousands to put solar on your home – you will be able to join with your neighbors, invest together in a solar installation and get paid for the energy you generate! The Omnibus Energy Bill signed by Gov. Dayton will make this an attractive reality by this Fall.  Work hard, make a difference. Bruce
