For the fourth year, District 197 is selling compost, just in time for spring gardening. The compost is created from school lunch room waste.
Compost improves soil structure and increases soil water holding capacity. Add compost to any yard or gardening project; rake compost into lawns, use up to 50% compost in any planting mixture.
Compost will be sold Saturday, May 24, from 10 a.m.-Noon by the track at Henry Sibley High School.
