Election Results: Dakota County Vote Totals

Democrats Hillary Clinton and Angie Craig were the slight favorites among Dakota County voters Tuesday. Clinton ended up taking Minnesota in a narrow contest with Donald Trump, but Craig was defeated by Republican challenger Jason Lewis in the race for the state's Second District.

Vote totals

• Trump received 97,921 votes (43 percent) to Clinton's 107,666 (47 percent).
• Jason Lewis received 99,155 votes (45 percent) to Craig's 103,866 votes (47 percent).
