Architecture as Art – ARTitecture Opens at Burnsville Performing Arts Center

The Dakota County Historical Society presents the opening of the new exhibit ARTitecture at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center.  With a focus primarily on architecture in Dakota County, featured artists Andrew Hill and Brandon Stengel share their different perspectives on the beauty of the man-made places that so shape our everyday lives.

A presentation of 30 unique photographs featuring everything from bridges to homes to the new Guthrie Theater and Target Field will be presented by Hill and Stengel.

In addition to the featured artists, a collage of new and historic images of favorite places across Dakota County will be exhibited. The last component of the exhibition is a preview of John Henry Howe: Architect, and exhibit that will be opening this summer at the Lawshe Memorial Museum in South St. Paul.
