Mendota Heights Parks and Recreations Annual Cliff Timm Memorial Fishing Derby for Youth Sunday, September 11, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.

Bring your fishin' pole and come down to the Roger's Lake Fishing Pier to try to catch the "BIG ONE"!  Prizes will be awarded.  This event is in memory of Cliff Timm who passed away December 2005.  Backpacks filled with goodies will be provided thanks to Cliff Timm's Trust.  Refreshments provided by Ira Kipp family and prizes donated by Gander Mountain.  MN DNR will be on hand with the DNR fish tank display and MN Sea Life Will provide hands on activities too!  Bring your own pole and bait, corn will be provided.

*This year one lucky participant will win a Minnesota Lifetime Fishing License

Must pre register at City Hall or online at www.mendota-heights.com no registrations taken at derby.

  • When:  Sunday, September 11, 2011
  • Ages:  Youth 14 and under (Adult must accompany child)
  • Time:  3 p.m. check in starts, fishing begins at 3:30
  • Entertainment by "Woody" at 4:30 p.m. with awards and prizes to follow
