Explosives Reported In Park Rapids; Schools On Lockdown
Authorities in a Park Rapids, Minnesota are investigating a report of explosives Thursday.

HUBBARD COUNTY, MN β Authorities in a central Minnesota town are looking into reported explosives Thursday. The Park Rapids Police Department and Hubbard County Sheriffβs Office is investigating a complaint of explosives on the west side of Park Rapids. Numerous roads are closed on the west side of town.
Authorities are asking people to not "come to the area to gawk." Schools are currently locked down now as a precautionary measure and will be released at normal dismissal times, according to a news release.
