Henry Sibley Seeks Props for 'Legally Blonde'
The show requires a camper, golf cart and multiple beauty salon chairs, among other things.

This spring, is going blonde.
The school will perform "Legally Blonde: The Musical" in late April.
However, the cast can’t tell the story of plucky sorority-girl-turned-law-student Elle Woods without the right props.

“We have great and talented students and having the props to support them and the show is very important,” said Dann Hurlbert, who teaches film studies at Sibley and is directing the musical.
Sibley students are looking to the Mendota Heights community to help.

In particular, the show’s crew is seeking a rundown camper or trailer, an elegant park bench and light post, a golf cart, an array of beauty salon accessories and anything pink that could ostensibly belong in a dorm room.
Donations are preferred, but loans can be negotiated. The prop loan period spans two to three weeks in mid-April.
“Having more props really gets the audience involved,” said Heidi Walsh, the musical’s assistant director. “We’re always open to donations.”
