Henry Sibley's Knight Takes 9th At State Track

Henry Sibley senior Ethan Knight was the Warriors’ lone participant in Friday and Saturday’s Class AA state boys track and field meet held at Hamline University in St. Paul.

Knight competed in the boys shot put, finishing ninth overall with a 52-foot, 10.75-inch toss as his best offering—which surpassed his seeding distance by 1.25 inches.

Andover’s Thomas Anderson won the shot put with a 62-foot, 3.25-inch toss. 

The Stillwater Area squad won the state meet with 47 team points. Knight’s performance picked up one point for Henry Sibley at the meet.
