Here's How Dakota County Voted In The Presidential Primary

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Former Vice President Joe Biden won handily in Dakota County Tuesday. Voters in the south metro preferred Biden over Sen. Bernie Sanders by an even greater margin than the state average.

In Minnesota overall, Biden took 38.64 percent of the votes to Sanders' 28.89 percent. In Dakota County, Biden won 43.84 percent of the votes, while Sanders won 27.41 percent.

Compare that with Hennepin County, a much closer contest where Biden grabbed 34.52 percent and Sanders got 33.19 percent.

Michael R. Bloomberg: 5,115 votes (9.06 percent)

Elizabeth Warren: 7,457 votes (13.20 percent)

Bernie Sanders: 15,479 votes (27.41 percent)

Joseph Biden: 24,759 votes (43.84 percent)
