Highway 13 In Mendota Will Fully Close

Crews from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will make drainage repairs to the road.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN — Motorists and bicyclists who use Highway 13 in Mendota and Lilydale will encounter a full closure and detour beginning Friday, June 19.

Highway 13 between Second Street in Mendota and Lexington Avenue in Lilydale will close in both directions beginning at 10 p.m. Friday, June 19, as crews make drainage repairs to the road.

All lanes are scheduled to reopen by 10 p.m. Sunday, June 21, weather permitting, according to a news release.

Motorists and bicyclists who use the highway are advised to follow the signed detour using Lexington Avenue, Victoria Curve and Highway 13 to bypass the closure.
