- Point fireworks away from people, property and animals.
- Never let children use sparklers unsupervised.
- Put spent fireworks in a bucket of sand or water. Many injuries are caused when people step on hot fireworks.
- Only use fireworks that are legal in Minnesota. Anything that explodes or shoots into the air is illegal.
