Man Sentenced In Dakota County Stabbing Death
The 21-year-old was sentenced today to 306 months in prison in connection with the stabbing death and robbery of Jordan David Paredes.
DAKOTA COUNTY, MN β Dakota County Attorney James Backstrom announced that Daniel Anthony Cruz-Hernandez, 21, of Roseville, was sentenced today to 306 months in prison by Judge Jerome Abrams in connection with the stabbing death and robbery of Jordan David Paredes, age 19 of Oakdale.
Cruz-Hernandez was convicted in December of aiding and abetting intentional murder in the second degree, aiding and abetting felony murder in the second degree, and aiding and abetting aggravated robbery in the first degree.
Police said the incident occurred in South St. Paul in the early morning hours of Aug. 2, 2017.
