Life for Mendota Heights residents and business owners who want to use alternative energy systems may have just gotten a little easier.Lillie News reported that the Mendota Heights City Council recently approved amendments to the current ordinance governing the <a href="http://eastsidereviewnews.com/articles/2016/09/18/mendota-heights-makes-changes-solar-system-ordinance" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">installation of solar panels</a>.City officials hope the changes make the permit process easier for residents and businesses. The city has so far approved four permits for roof-mounted solar panels, including one for Friendly Hills Middle School.
