The Mendota Heights Police Department enforces the Dakota County Curfew Ordinance, which is as follows:

It is unlawful for anyone 12 and under to be present in any public place in Dakota County between these hours:

• Sunday – Thursday: 9 p.m. - 5 a.m.
• Friday – Saturday: 10 p.m. - 5 a.m.

For ages 12-14:

• Sunday – Thursday: Be home from 10 p.m. - 5 a.m.
• Friday – Saturday: Be home from 11 p.m. - 5 a.m.

For ages 15-17:

• Sunday – Thursday: Be home from 11 p.m. - 5 a.m.
• Saturday – Sunday: Be home from 12 p.m. - 5 a.m.
