Mendota Heights Police Seek Info on Missing Person
Mendota Heights police say the missing person may be a homicide victim.
The Mendota Heights Police Department is actively working a missing person case. On Nov. 7, police say a friend reported Joseph Michael Hernandez, 35, missing from a local motel. Joseph is Hispanic, 5'6", 180 lbs with black hair and brown eyes, according to a news release.
Police say that Hernandez may be a homicide victim.
Police recently received a report of potential evidence which led to the execution of a search warrant by the Dakota County Sheriff's Office, but the warrant did not lead to addition information in the case.

Searches of the surrounding area have been and are being organized by family and friends and are not being organized or conducted by the Mendota Heights Police Department. Police are emphasizing that searchers should be respectful of private property while searching.
