Mendota Heights Police Trying To Reconnect Chihuahua with Owners

The female dog was found "searching for her people" along the Wagon Wheel Trail and police are attempting to reunite her with her owners.

MENDOTA HEIGHTS, MN – A female Chihuahua is trying to locate her owners with the assistance of Mendota Heights Police after the dog was found walking along the Wagon Wheel Trail on Thursday.

The dog has no collar, no tags and no microchip, police said, and police are now hoping to locate her people, according to a social media post on the Mendota Heights police department’s Facebook page.

If the dog is not reunited with her owners, police said that she will be taken to the South Saint Paul Police Department.
