Mendota Heights Police: Watch Out For This Scam

Mendota Heights police want residents to be on the lookout for a recent scam targeting residents. Police say if you receive an invoice from "Troje's Trash" that looks similar to this one, it's a scam.

Troje's Trash is no longer in service, police said, and the Anoka address listed on the invoice is not associated with the trash company.

The account number will also not match your previous account number.

MHPD and other police department's are aware of the scam.

Report the scam to your local police department if you fell victim to it by supplying payment to the invoice.
