Superintendent Search: District Seeks Input from Mendota Heights Residents
Before interviewing superintendent candidates, the school board wants to hear from parents, guardians, staff and district residents.

School District 197, which includes Mendota Heights, Eagan, and Saint Paul, is currently in the process of searching for its next superintendent. This process will take several months and will include opportunities for the community to participate.
On Jan. 4, the district will host two community meetings, according to a news release. Before interviewing candidates, the school board wants to hear from parents, guardians, staff and district residents regarding the opportunities, strengths and goals of the district, as well as the characteristics and skills desired in a new superintendent.
